I am a potential osteopathic student. I was wondering if any of the Des moines students would give me a tour of the med school this summer for a day or so? Or do I have to go through the school to do this? I have a place to stay, I'm just wondering about a quick tour of the facilities.

Great idea! I'd recommend contacting the admissions office about setting up a time for a tour this summer. There is a student organization which gives tours to the students interviewing there, and they could probably put you in touch with one of them, or perhaps other students.

If I were you, I'd call them before the summer though, as they're getting a 6 week break this summer and you might want to make arrangements before many of them leave the area.
