Can someone review what is supposed to happen in the upcoming week and a half? Rumor has it that you will get a call on Monday if you DON'T match, but if you do, then the program is supposed to call you sometime Friday to tell you where you matched. I heard another option that people have done is go to their OSA early Friday morning to find out the results. Can someone validate and/or provide any additional details??

At least at my school, the dean's office calls you Thursday morning to let you know if and where you matched. This is based on a document that is faxed to the office on Wednesday evening from SFMatch. Many programs will also give you a "welcome" call sometime during the day.

That's what happened for me. Dean's office of your school gives you a call the morning after they get "the fax" overnight. The program will usually call during the day too. There is no heads up notice if you don't match, it's all or nothing on match day.

At my (a.k.a. your) school last year, even though they already got the fax the past night, they make you wait until noon before they contact you (by that time, most of the peeps had already been contacted by their respective future PDs)... so banging on the OSA door might get things moving a bit faster :P
