The purpose of the newsletter is to provide you with review articles and questions that will help new residents get up to speed and to stimulate review for current residents & fellows. Some other potential ideas:

recommended instructional books, cd-roms, videos, etc
oppurtunities for international ophthalmology during/after residency
featured subspecialists/subspecialties (a glimpse into a field outside of the personalities in our individual departments)

Also, it might be nice to get info on things to buy as a first year (I am looking to buy new compact PC but don't know what ophtho stuff I can download etc)
