Which journals would give someone a feel for cosmetic plastic surgery, and which for recontructive?

Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery is an excellent resource that covers a wide variety of topics.


PRS is also an excellent journal which covers all topics in plastic surgery including those you've mentioned.

PRS tends to be too specialized (except for the CME articles) for the casual reader

Selected readings is too general to me but may be more of what your looking for.

The aesthetics journal is simpler then PRS but dwells on technique more then general knowledge

Annals of plastic surgery has more general articles with less basic science. Another one that's good for the casual reader.
