Hey

does anyone know if a masters in gi exists? a friend of a friend is doing a masters in heme-onc at pitt before starting residency...

i was thinking of doing a masters in gi after IM residency mainly because i haven't done any research as of yet and don't see how I'm possibly going to have a strong GI application a little after intern yr! (i'm a 4th yr med student, btw). Obviously, i don't want to prolong the torture of training but if doing a masters or something would make me stronger applicant, I would definately go thru with it.
