I'm planning to attend BU in the august. Would i have a disadvantage, for example as compared to those that went to NYU, if I am planning to come back to NY to practice after dental school? Thanks for your reply!

There is no disadvantage... BUT.. it will open your eyes to new areas... new people... that includes you spouses eyes (if married) or a spouse you may meet there... Many students stay near where they graduate, or near where they go to a residency.

While 60+ % of my residents come from out of state, 90 + % stay in the state of Delaware (in the over 25 years I have run the program)... always keep an open mind.. there are many places to be happy and have a good practice.
