Any suggestions on good places to live. I'm thinking both suburbs and near the school if I find something I like. I know near the Inner Harbor and Federal Hill areas are supposed to be nice, but any other suggestions or specific places/areas to check out. THanks

I haven't started yet either, but I've spoken with current students who live in Owings Mills. It's a good option to check out if you're looking for something in the suburbs, and it has a metro stop to get you into the city easier than fighting traffic (significantly cheaper considering gas/parking as well). Apparently there's a decent group of dental students who live out there and car pool to the metro, and study on the way in and out of the city.

Of course nothing beats rolling out of bed and walking to school if you can handle living downtown. I'm having a kid, so I'm looking for an area with a little bit slower pace, and where I can afford a townhouse rather than an apartment. G'luck.
