This article talk about how pods are doing missionary trips to 3rd world countries to do surgery on the less wealthy and etc. It'll give you guys a bigger motivation and a proud sense of being a podiatrist.

I think that it is great that Podiatrists are going out and volunteering their time on missionary trips to help patients in the third world countries. There are several residency programs in the US that are involved in sending residents to the Baja Project and Yucatan Project in Mexico.

If I remember right, doesn't Scholl have a strong international program? [See I remember some good things about Scholl too :-)] I thought they mentioned that on that interview day long ago, maybe to El Salvador? I don't remember.
I know that the International medicine club at DMU has a few trips but you have to pay your own way.
