I'm an MSII and while checking some residency programs requisites for admissions, noticed that some of them ask for your undergrad transcripts. Do undergraduate grades matter much for matching?? I always thought that I started medical school with a clean slate. Any input would be appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge, nobody asked for my undergrad transcripts in IM. If you're looking at Neurosurgery or ENT maybe they'll be crazy like that but it seems kind of ridiculous to me.

for one supplemental application for general surgery (U Va), i had to submit SAT scores. which, i must admit, i had a hard time remembering. but absolutely no undergrad grades. wouldn't even know how to get them at this stage.
don't worry...
