Hey Guys!
Just wanted to know your opinion on the title topic. In my other life  I also practice acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Being a doc should not be necessarily "forget what you've been before" (at least not for me).I wanted to kind of combine conventional and complimentary medicine. I'm also interested in the field of neuroanatomy and elctrophysiology. My idea of residency was either, PM&R (could be diff as an IMG), FP/sports , or IM/neuro,? What do you guys think about those choices?
TIA :)

Mayo Scottsdale has an Integrative Medicine residency. I'm not sure if this residency is available anywhere else. But, I think complimentary med principles could be applied to any of the areas you've listed

If you went the DO route, an FP combined with OMM residency might be a good field?

I agree. I'm still accepted to Carib, but lstarted working on MCAT (never took one). I think I have pretty good shot at D.O ,provided I'd do well on MCAT.
If that was the case then PM&R/IM combo is my choice.
Thanks
