They had you read your match letters one by one on stage? Wow.

We all drew our letters and then opened them at once. But dorky me, even thought I knew that I had fully matched because I got the NRMP "congratulations you matched" thing, I was a little confused that my letter just said xxx program xxx residency, then a blank page (others who had a prelim/transitional had that listed on that page). Since I had ranked the categorical and the advanced position and it didn't say anything more on the sheet I wasn't *completely* happy until I saw the categorical program code on the NRMP website an hour later! (I got my #1!)

Yep. They randomly draw 2 envelopes at a time and I was 5 or 6 from the end. It was torture!!!

THERE IS A GOD!!!! #1 AND ME TOGETHER AT LAST!!!

(sorry for the caps but I'm really freakin' excited)
