Urban Doc 03-16-2006, 07:31 PM Thank God! I got Bronx Lebanon. This year in New York was tough; I was reading the stats on AAFP.org...95% fill rate. Do you people know why? What have you heard about New York Family Practice programs?

FM has this reputation for being non-competitve, and it is frequently. But every few years the competition gets pretty tight. This was one of those years. I suppose we'll see if this is a genuine change or just an especially competitive year.
Given the fill rates, a double-congrats to everyone!

Sorry, no this is not my government issued name, it's something people have called me almost all my life, but thanks! I think FP in urban areas as a whole is such an interesting dynamic. I can't wait!
Oh and Dimples, congrats with Beth Israel. It was a close, close, close, close second (excellent program!) but I had to make myself right with the AOA and put Jamaica first; they are so similar though, except in housing.... Did you get a chance to check out the housing at Beth Israel?! SWEEEET!
Congratulations to everyone!

newby02...did we interview together at Lancaster? End of December, we were the only two there and they arranged a special day for us? If so, PM off-list. I'd love to catch up! If not, congrats on your match. I absolutely LOVED Lancaster and if they were located in CO, I would have ranked them #1 no question!!! :)
