Hi all,

I have a question about Preventive Medicine and did not think there was a section geared towards this specialty. I looked at a couple of websites that listed Preventive Medicine residencies where you most often obtain a MPH degree in Public Health. Has anyone here ever pursued more than the MPH and went for the PhD instead?

I am considering the MD/PhD, with an emphasis in Public Health. I do want to see patients, but I also want to do work in public health and teach as well.
