HI ALL!
I've been working in research for a year now, and I would like to get a good book or two to review before starting IM in June. I have the Tulane IM Intern's Handbook. It seems really good. I'm still looking for more that are up to date and to the point. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!

Hi,
I interviewed there. They gave it to all the IM applicants. I am from the area, and still have friends at Tulane. I'll start asking if there is another way to get that book. A few people seem interested. I'll get back to you...

Not a problem, we all have to help each other out, and that is what it will be like in the hospitals...
I have sent out some emails. I'll let you know when I hear anything.

Well, I finally heard back from someone. The word is that you can buy it directly from the IM program secretary for only $5.00. No internet orders or anything. But, she said that she just walked in and bought the book. No questions asked. So, I guess maybe all you have to do is contact the program secretary and see if you can mail order or something. Their contact information should be on ERAS after searching programs, and on ACGME website. Let me know how it goes......
