Hi,
If i dont do well in college and get a very low GPA, do you think i should get a pharm tech license then apply to pharmacy school? Would pharmacy schools look favorably on my application if I have PT degree cuz i think PT really prepares me for pharmacy school Or should i just try to repeat my classes all over again and try to improve my gpa? thanks

I think that you should do both. Repeat all Cs (even Ds) to bring up your GPA. This shows them that you are determined. Get a pharm tech license and try to work (as a volunteer, as a paid employee) at a Pharmacy. Then, have a good PCAT score.
Good luck.

I wouldn't bank on the PT certificate to improve your chances that much. It definitely can't hurt, but you need to focus on improving your grades.

i just found out that my school basically requires you to get a pharm tech certification in order to complete a required 200 hours before our P4 year rotations.
!!!!! i thought i was going to get away without having to take that test!!!! :(

This site has lots of useful information. You can buy books and other study materials to help you study for the test. Just do a little researching online.
