What is the starting salary for an internist after finishing your residency?

$120-200K depending on a variety of factors. Solo vs Group practice. Geographic location, especially urban vs rural location. In the private practice world, it's all about how business saavy you are and how hard you're willing to work. I know internists that have a great business sense, work abt 80hrs/wk and make over $300K and I know internists that make $120K but work considerably fewer hours.
