Oh boi, know the rules bro. Lingual cusps of Maxillary teeth contact in marginal ridge areas except Mesiolingual of molars (contact in central fossa).

Hi
Oki the thing is I agree with the rule that maxillary lingual cusps contact marginal ridges except mesiolingual cusp of molars which fall in the central fossa But In the Latest Decks the answer given is Distal triangular fossa of mandibular premolar for this question.
iudentist04 Thanx for answering. Can you explain this?

The decks aren't infallible. There are errors in every edition to date. Some more than others.
For these questions, know your contact rules, plus, remember that if you can't see it in your head, draw the, "tooth to two tooth" sketch and it will help you remember your cusp locations.

Thanks everybody for your input but as i was going through the released exam for dental anat. (dec 1977) i came across 2 questions 17 & 19. If you check the answers , i think the 17 one is wrong & to prove it the answer is right there in the 19th question. Anybody plz go thru this exam & check these 2 questions for me. If these kind of mistakes happen then won't they affect our score only.
