Since SCO is switching to the semester system in 2007, how does that affect the courseload? So we would be having 30cr per semester versus 20cr per quarter? That's a lot of final exams! :scared:

I asked that exact question to Dr. Hauser during one of the sessions at the interview, and he told me that the course load is going to be about the same.

Here, we go by the semester system, but I know that whenever I get into Opt. school, most schools go by quarters...don't they?

If you're talking about Tennessee, I was told by the recruiting representative who came to my school's club that the change was to adapt to a changing system of board exams. Apparently, some faculty or administration member influential with the board exam organization also suggested the change to the college. Suppose to correspond better with the board exams.

That's about all I remember her saying as far as the reasons for the change.
