I thought that someone asked this question a while ago, but after searching I couldn't find the thread... Is it OK just to put a printed 2" x 2" photo (using a high-quality printer and normal printer paper) on there or do I actually have to go to Target and have it printed on glossy photo paper before I attach it? Hopefully it won't be a problem seeing as I have barely any time to go get one printed tomorrow.

I printed a 2" x 2" photo from my computer this Past August. Had no problems. As long as it's a current picture. Goodluck :)

What about a passport size photo? It's 1.5 X 2

They'll kick you out, and everyone will point and laugh at you as you leave.

Seriously, though, I don't know. But considering how strict the proctors were when I took the MCAT last year, I'd bring a 2x2. People can be petty, and some jerk may make 0.5" an issue.

(half an inch is a really big deal to men, anyway. )

Does it matter if it's on photo paper--or can it just be a printed out photo onto regular paper?

Why aren't these questions directed to the MCAT administration?

Indeed! Every question ever asked on these boards should have been directed towards adcoms, schools, administrations...pretty much anywhere but these boards...I mean really, what is the point of these boards anyway

Thanks though for asking an even more idiotic question than I did, I appreciate it! :)

I read on another thread (after I posted this one) that someone else just used a printout on regular paper from their printer at home and it worked fine at their testing center. I suppose it COULD matter depending on whether or not the admins are really picky, but if its a good quality picture I doubt it will matter whether or not its on glossy photo paper or regular paper. I'm going with regular paper personally since I didnt have time to go print out a pic at WalMart today

Ok, thanks for the reply and info. I appreciate it! :) I know you are in the same situation I am but since your question about the paper hadn't been answered I thought I would ask also. Anyway, thanks again.
