if i defer my acceptance for this year because i cant finish all the classes before the school starts, can i still apply to other schools for the up coming cycle while i am deferring ?

This may not apply to all schools, but some of the schools I have checked in to will not let you defer if you have not finished all of your classes. Deferment is for ppl who have been accepted and completed all classes.

You can apply to any school you want whether or not you defer an acceptance. They really have no way of knowing unless you tell them.

My advisor told me if you defer you have to sign a contract saying you will go there and not apply to other schools. I am not sure if this is true, but it is what I was told.

You may not be able to defer if you do not finish the classes.

Deferment is probably not an option in your case. Most schools will only let people defer if they have finished all their pre-reqs, and in some cases they also require that you have some pretty good circumstances for doing it (ie: not because you just feel like waiting).

Deferment is not an option to ALL Pharmacy schools. There is a contingent requirement that: You have to finish this and this. If not, then acceptance will be withdrawn duw to that contingency.

What would you do? RE-APPLY is a safe choice.
