Hi

What do I need to send to ECE for getting my course by course evaluations done? I only have my (BDS) university transcripts and the syllabus (downloaded from the internet). Do I need to send a copy of my degree or 12th standard marksheet? If so Can I just get them notarized or just send them a photocopy? I would really appreciate your replies.

-i dont think u need to send in the syllabus.just the transcipts and ur bds degree certificate.
-u should add ur high school marksheets also,but they wont be used in gpa calculation;ur high school degree will just be listed on the report.
-Photocopies will do even if they are not notarised or attested.
this is true only for ece,might be different for wes.
But its always safe to call the agency and ask them directly about their requirements because rules keep on changing.U can call the at 414-289-3400 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m cst.

Now I am confused. I thought it was specified in the website that only a general evaluation report is suffient from the ece. So, I got a general evaluation report done. And, I have my GPA included in it. Why is a course by course evaluation report required?

or is the general evaluation report sufficient?

hi! general report is sufficient if you are planning on taking national boards only, but if you are planning to apply for schools, then you need course by course evaluation.

Well if you read some previous threads you will know that schools require course by course evaluation and ADA requires General Evaluation. Course by Course evaluation is also accepted by ADA. So I thought of saving some dough by doing directly a course by course evaluation.

General evaluation is sufficient for ADA to sit for NBDE.

finally my problem is solved, coz wen i got my transcript evaluated from ECE, as I was complaining they didnt give credits for extra 1 year of my program and i didnt get my gpa as well, they just wrote us equivalent to fours years of study in dentistry.
Finally i called them up n they r again going to make a a new evaluation report, the lady said she thoght i studied for 4 years .. How can they make a mistake .Did this happen to any of u before.

Wow ... I've never heard of them making such basic mistakes. Someone over there might be getting an unexpected vacation. :thumbdown
