So I originally bought Clinical Micro Made Ridiculously Simple to study in addition to First Aid, but flipping through the book now, it looks like it would take me at least 7 or more days to get through all the info.

My question is, does the info in the Micro Section of First Aid cover enough and if it's doesn't, is the material in the Clinical Micro book too much?? Same goes for the anti-microbials section of each book.

Basically, should I even bother attempting to make it through the Clinical Micro book or should I just focus on First Aid??

It really won't take you that long to read it. Just read it like you would read a book for fun, and ignore the charts at the end of the chapters. There is a lot of great information in there, and the way it is written will really help you remember some really random stuff.

skip the charts, read like a book, annotate into FA when neccesary, shoudl take you about a week to read if you just enjoy it

I also don't think I'll get through CMMRS. As an alternative, I'm using First Aid for micro, questions from the Lange Micro/Immuno book (by Levinson and Jawetz), then Qbank. I figure if I do that much, I should learn something. Right? RIGHT?!! :scared:

Let's just say hypothetically, though, that I don't have 5-6 days open for Micro, but rather 3 or 4 and only really have time to devote to learning the First Aid material. Would I be missing out on a lot of extra info/questions or should I be ok?? Thanks....

This book is awesome. If I had one to choose, it would be MMRS.
