I tried asking this question in the Neurosurg forum but surprise, surprise...no response. Anyhow, I will be doing NS during my EM-intern year. I would like a nice handbook that would be appropriate for a non-NS resident. Have you guys invested the 50-80 bucks for a handbook or do have you found another way to succeed in the NS pits?

A classmate of mine who matched in NS recommended Handbook of NS. He said that he has used it on his 4th year electives and plans to use it as a tern. Any thoughts?
