Yes! And AP scores as well, right? It's funny, AMCAS is so eager to make money off us in every other way, you'd imagine they'd have some sort of paid early release system...

i'd pay eleventy billion dollars.

actually, probably no more than $50.

i'm sure AAMC would do it if they could. i think it actually takes that long to put together all the stats.

If we had eleventy billion dollars, I doubt anyone would be stressing about medical school or application processes.

Just messing with you guys. If this was me in that position, I'd say probably 100 is the most i'd be willing to pay.

I'd be willing to pay any amount so long as there's enough money left-over in my wallet to buy a 30-rack to celebrate or mourn over the score I've gotten.

Then again, I should reconsider that idea seeing as the last check I wrote from my banking account just bounced last week.

Perhaps the better poll would be how much would our friends and family be willing to pay to get the score early, just so they don't have to deal with us for the next, oh, 48 days. :D

Registering for the MCAT: $210.
Three number 2 pencils: $1.99.
The ability to get MCAT scores early to put a crazy premed at ease: priceless.

I'd pay 300. Reason being, I would know what my best course of action would be for the next couple months.

$300? That's more than taking the test itself, but I can see the AAMC doing that. I wouldn't go that high. Not only can I not afford it, but I'm trying to avoid the pain as long as possible. I guess today is one of the "I'm queasy about my score" days.

hmm considering that i stopped just short of selling myself on the street just to pay for the test itself i wouldn't pay much for it, but then again im probably the least neurotic, most patient person i know. if things work out and i get in this year then great. if not i will make necessary improvements to my app and apply again. its no use to worry about things that are out of your control.

I would definitely pay more than 40$! It's been almost two weeks and I can't stop thinking about it... But as far as I know myself, I will keep checking and refreshing the website to look at my grade over and over again, until I'm convinced that that's the grade I got... :)

Since I have so much time between now and the day our MCAT scores get mailed, I downloaded this song to give me something to listen to:

Tom Petty - The Waiting

Oh baby don't it feel like heaven right now
Don't it feel like something from a dream
Yeah I've never known nothing quite like this
Don't it feel like tonight might never be again
We know better than to try and pretend
Baby no one could'a ever told me about this
I said yeah yeah

CHORUS
The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more card
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part

Well yeah I might have chased a couple women around
All it ever got me was down
Then there were those that made me feel good
But never as good as I'm feeling right now
Baby you're the only one that's ever known how
To make me wanna live like I want to live now
I said yeah yeah

CHORUS
The waiting is the hardest part
Every day you get one more yard
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The waiting is the hardest part

Oh don't let it kill you baby, don't let it get to you
Don't let it kill you baby, don't let it get to you
I'll be your bleeding heart, I'll be your crying fool
Don't let this go too far
Don't let it get to you
