Okay, I signed a lease for a one BR apt. for my year of internship which is a good distance from where I will be for the next three years of my Anesthesiology residency.
I have not decided if I should furnish this 1BR and then either sell my stuff or U-Haul it, or just take the bare essentials like my aero bed, clothes, books, toothbrush, clogs :p etc... and then furnish after my intern year.
I am curious what others are doing in a similar situation like mine especially for those that are single? TY!

If you're a dude and you want to have any semblance of a dating life, you either better take your date back to her house or claim that someone robbed you the night before you take her back to your place. If you're a monk, by all means buy a rice cooker, a mat, and a large candle.

Hey life's too short to not at least be comfortable during your TY. I'm not saying you should buy a yacht and a Ferrari, just have a place you look forward coming home to. You're going to be miserable at some point in your first year. Best not to make it worse by being miserable at home as well.
