I was told that this series would be really helpful during 3rd year rotations. What do you all think out these books?

I looked at the 2nd edition of these books for step 1 studying and I thought they were crap. I don't know if newer editions have changed, but the ones I saw had no discussion of the case, just the vignette. I have used case files during 3rd year and this series is excellent. It's similar to UCV in that it has a case presentation, but then it follows the case with several pages of discussion.
