If you mean residents, it's around 40K. If you mean after residency (there is no "internship" per se in QC) it depends. I've been curious about that myself, there doesn't seem to be too much information out there. I know it's in the 6 figures though.

I'm Uber psyched! You know when something is too good to be true and you keep expecting something to come up and prevent it...well i keep thinking im going to fail all my courses or McGill is going to close or crazy sh!t like that. I'm especially psyched for a summer of partying after my thesis defense THIS WEDNESDAY! Oh, and btw i was talking about residencies...i can't find much on it though (cash wise). Anyway, gotta go practice...thanks for the response... i see you have kept the compulsive webpost-checking habit (AS HAVE I).

The best salaries seem to be in Ontario and the Maritimes and the worst, not suprisingly, Quebec.

Download first report for 2002-03 and 2003-04. Should increase significantly in Ontario from 2005 based on agreements concluded last year. Remember these are gross average payments. Overhead is usually 25-30% in Ontario using family physicians as examples.

What is up with this data? The average fee-for-service payment of a P.E.I. pediatrician is only 47,000 Gross? Does that mean they were salaried?
