I have a problem,
I was just wondering if there r schools that accept student into advance standing program without appearing for dexterity test as a matter of fact I only have 5 months of experience back home and I am really not confident because its been months i havent had any clinical experience with patients.
wether i shoul go for advance standing or should try for residencies

If your goal is to practice in this country, I think the best approach is to go for advanced standing so you get your North American dental degree once and for all and practice anywhere you want (almost).

As far as dexterity tests I'm not familiar with the schools that don't require them, but I know most schools do have some form of a practical exam, with a little bit of practice on your own, or with the help of another dentist, you should be fine.

Finally, about your stats, your NBD score is very good and competetive, I'm afraid I can't comment on the TOEFL, I'm not sure about the new scoring system. Most advanced standing programs don't require GRE, but it might be helpful. Hope that helped a bit :)

I agree except that some schools in the east coast do not require a pratical exam-NYU,UPenn,BU.Your scores are competitive.While that alone does not gurantee admission, you have one thing less to worry about. :D

I understand that for advance standing programs its a requirement to have cleared even part 2, with a good score.

For some schools yes.Like Tufts,Loma Linda,U Pitts.Can't think of anything else at this moment. :D
