Hi everyone,
As everyone gets ready to graduate I just wanted to know how much you will owe and what interest rate were you able to consolidate your loans at? Thanks

$250K+. Consolidated $178K at 3.625%, which will go down to 2.875% when I start repayment if I do automatic debit, then down to 1.875% after 3 years of on-time payment. The rest are private loans at anywhere between 4.5% and 9.5%...

by the end of it:
0. 4K at 5% or so.
1. 48K at 6.8%
2. 123K at 3.5%, which will drop to 1.5% for the majority of it.

Nah.. EM.. luckily Mrs Fetus has a good job too. The plan is to be out of 1/2 of our debt in 6-7 yrs.. 3 yrs for residency.. then 3-4 yrs of living between an attending and resident.. paying the bills.. thats the plan.. but yeah you are right.. lots of work to do..

Close to $250k myself, will be about $275 total I think... and the wife will be about the same. :( So.... figure $600k after residency interest accumulates.

Can anyone beat that????? ;)

$60k which could be $0 if I choose to sell my house (which I don't owe anything on).
