Since most of us use the Kaplan material as our main study prep, it would be nice to compile a list of topics not covered in the Kaplan material that has been seen before on the actual DAT (for those of you who have taken it) an d practice test.
I'll start:
BIology: Their has been talk lately on this forum about BONES-osteoblast, osteoclasts, etc. that I don't thinks in the Kaplan book.
O-Chem: I had a friend who had a Diels-Alder reaction on his DAT

That's all I have. How about you? :)

This was covered in the Kaplan blue book.

What I've heard so far is Plant biology is being asked pretty frequently, the Kaplan book is liht on taxonomy, classification and ecology, and the bone cells thing IS covered in Kaplan.

I think Diels-Alder is covered too...I know I had a question on it on the Kaplan practice test, though I havn't quite gotten that far in the book yet :)
