I am applying for '07 but my 2001 MCAT is showing on AMCAS. If MCAT scores are invalid after three years, why do they still show up? Does anyone know if med schools can see invalid scores that are on AMCAS? If so I would like to address it somewhere, if not, I don’t want to even bring it up. Any help is much appreciated.

I think any mcat you took and got a score for is still reported, however, they are not usable for applying. It is the individual medical school that decides whether a score is valid for only 3 yrs or 4 yrs, not the AAMC.

Univ of Tennessee told me they accept for 5 years. hinted they might take 6 year old ones too. It's per school

My MCAT scores from 1992 and 1994 still show up on AMCAS. The scores stick with you forever. *sigh* I'm just waiting for my 2006 scores to come in. :scared:
