So if you wanna get into the game of dat prep, Pick a couple of us that are studying for the dat to test your product and then we can give a REAL review on here... Just my 2 cents :p

the package suppose to include ONLY questions and answers. he charges too much for few questions. come on 147 questions for biology book costs $50?? thats way too much. topscore and dat achiever has way more questions in all sections for less than $50.

I agree that each individual book is expensive, but the package is only 150, and I dont think that is too much money. I know im taking a gamble here ordering these books as many on here have not used it. As i stated earlier, I will post a full review comparing it to Kaplan and Dat achiever.

yea...i purchased the DAT destroyer package about two weeks ago. someone mentioned about it here on studentdoctor.net in this forum..i checked out the website...and the product seemed to help a lot of students. And so I went ahead and bought it (BOTH Dr. Romano and Nancy were very sincere and helpful) and i LOVE it. JUST COZ extra extra problems is what i need (that's just how i am)..and these arent just useless problems...these are DECENT problems that reminds me of the littlest details..hmm..yea..that's all about i can say..ORGO and G CHEM is definitely helping me out, i think out of the most just coz i suck at it. OH BTW YOU GUYS. i'm in no way connected with Dr. Ramano...i'm taking my test on JUNE 3rd and will be more than glad to post my thoughts on the actual DAT exam and how i did on topscore and DATachiever and tips and advice..... :thumbup:

I'm one of Doctor Romano's long-time students and I can attest that he is the real thing. He lives and breathes science and there is nobody out there like him. If you guys want the edge over your Pre-med or Pre-dent competitors, take as much advice and info from him as you can get. I am currently in his DAT class and i am more prepared than any kid out there

I've used Destroyer as well as taken courses with Dr. Romano over this past summer. I've also used the Barron’s and Kaplan books and pretty much any other resources that I could get my hands on. I don’t see why everyone is bashing Destroyer -- it is obviously not a complete guarantee to a seat in dental school, but among all of my resources, I would say it is the best. The Destroyer only supplements you with the type of questions that you should expect. You have to have a strong foundation in the sciences in order to get the most out of something like the Destroyer. You guys need to take it easy and open your mind. If there is a tool out there and it supposedly boosts your DAT score, how could you exclude it? Why would you rely on one thing and one thing alone as a study guide? Thats just my two cents.

I recently retook the DATs and I did pretty well. I used the destroyer and really studied the explanations.

My first attempt, Bio/GC/OCHEM/QR 21/20/16/17
My second Attempt, Bio/GC/OCHEM/QR 23/19/21/14

I didnt do well on the QR...I dont know why but I guess I didnt study well enough. I found that the destoryer was very helpful. I never contacted Dr. Romano but he contacted ME (via PM) when I put my questions on this board. I think 150 bucks is a small price to pay if you're talking about the rest of your future.

If I were Dr. Romano I wouldn't give out free copy to you guys even if you were the last pre-dents alive. You're just a bunch of free-loaders. Look, not that I can prove this but I can almost guarantee that you have a copy yourself and you're just whining. Just like everyone else says to other bashers, stop wasting your time trying to act like this thread is going to make a difference and STUDY. There's a reason why you're trolling on these forums:

1) you have no life
2) you aren't studying
3) you haven't taken the DAT and are talking from your ass

oh yea, I go to Cal and I live in California which means I'm not Dr. Romano's student but just a fellow SDNer that is sick and tired of the few of you that can't stop complaining.

150 is much cheaper than the useless kaplan prep course that cost me over a grand. I used destroyer as my primary study tool and ended up with a 22 AA, with a 24 in biology. People do fine without it, but it worked for me...I'm in dental school now.

this person is rite on the money!! don't bash Dr. Romano for helping your sorrie asses..but learn to appreciate what hes doing for you. Plus on top of that this thread is made for kids that have questions about the material that dat covers so don't just start bashing him for it. Just today he called me and told me how he wants me to kill the dats..under his guidance I feel that I can..kaplan material isnt even being covered on the dats according to some SDNers. Destroyer is the best tool to have next to you when your studying for this dat exam. After going through the destroyer you'll see why he has worked over 15 years in this business. Just remember one thing...experience prevails!!! now go study :laugh::laugh::laugh:!!
