ur right nitrosoamine is carninogenic .i jumped into the answer with out reading the question properly.i should always keep in mind to read the question properly especially the questions like this.

8. What passes between superior and middle pharyngeal constrictor ? Stylopharyngeus muscle, stylohyoid ligament
9. Major portion of hard palate and soft palate is derived from ?
10. Injury to spinal accessory nerve will lead the what ? Inability of raise scapula
11. What nucleus innervate the muscle derived from brachchial arches ? Nucleus ambiguous
12. If parotid gland is removed, what structures are likely to be injured ? External carotid and glossopharyngeal
13. What does long thoracic nerve innervate ?
14. The striated muscle of the tongue is derived from ? First or second branchial arch, myotomes
15. If dentin formation occurs after the breaking up of root sheath of Hertwig, what forms ? Lateral canals
16. what is the pressure of large veins at right atrium ?
17. What is constant throughout the cardiovascular system ? Endothelium, smooth muscle, vasa vasorum
18. Skeletal muscle differs from cardiac muscle in what way ? Skeletal muscle can hypertrophy, has shorter action potential

The tongue is derived from the branchial arches..very true...but the muscles are derived from occipital myotomes.....u can check kaplan..musculoskeletal embryology.....
