Have you guys heard anything about new laws mandating that all hospitals have to have an ICU attending present... and the most of ICU work is going shift work... also that ICU docs can bill for procedures also aside from there salary...

Also what is the future outlook as far as call at night, and working weekends... if it is more shiftwork shoudlnt call be eliminated like ER?
