Dear Everyone
My name is Marcus Paulson, and I am going to be a student at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry starting in September. One of the summer projects requested by my school is that I collect teeth. I must have at least four of each tooth, however they recommend that I collect as many teeth as I can! my advice to you is to contact a couple of dentist and ask them to save there extracted teeth for you. i was in same situation last year it worked for me. most dentist will understand because they may have had to do the same thing when they were in school. get as many you can, use the extras to practice cutting preps or something.

Just a question. I'll be starting dental school next year (hopefully). Do all schools operate this way? It seems to me that for all the tuition they are collecting, they could provide everyone with the materials they'll need.

I agree with the above post-----with the money they collect----they should provide all materials!!!!! How bush-league is telling entering students to collect teeth?????? Get real!

Go to the yellow pages and look for 5 or 6 oral surgeons in your area.Call and ask if they will save ext'd teeth for you, tell them it's for dental school and if they agree, leave a large plastic sealable container containing 50/50 H2O and antifreeze.Visit them every week to collect your booty and leave a fresh container for more teeth if needed. Finally leave them a Thank You note and a small gift. Good luck.

yes im am starting my third year of dental school

we all passed through it just as smile told u head to a couple of dentists in ur area to save extracted teeth for u or else extract ur own :) just kidding
