(0.05M HCl ) x (x ml) = (0.01M HCl) x (40+x)

x = 10 ?

(0.05M HCl ) x (x ml) = (0.01M HCl) x (40+x)

x = 10 ?

10 + the 20 that you added to neutralize = 30.
