Hi friends,
I'm currently doing my PGY1 in a IM residency Program, but i don't like the program (and have some family issues). I want to apply again through Eras to another residency program and going through the 2007 Match, while continuing my PGY1.
I don't mind repeating PGY1 next year, even though i am doing well in my current program.
I have not yet told anyone in my program about my desire to leave, i guess if they know, things might be difficult for me.
The problem will come up when it is time to renew my contract. I don't know what to do, whether to sign or not and wait for the Match.
Has any one experience a similar situation or know some one who has successfully done it?
