Is anyone familiar with how people can transfer into a PGY2 int med spot after a completion of categorical PGY1 spot elsewhere?
-how do we find out about vacancies in IM programs for PGY2 spots
-how we apply (different materials required compared to ERAS files?)
-how/who we contact
-how difficult it is to transfer in general
-how/who/when we should inform the current PGY1 program (heard we need to get a letter from the prog director)
It seemed to be impossible to find out information about these. If anyone knows anything about this or has done this, will really appreciate your input.
