just wondering if sept was too late to ask for lor's. i'm doing my subi in sept and was hoping to get a letter from the attendings i am working with. just wanted to know if it would be too late. the attendings at my program are very good about getting letters in before oct 1st. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

It is not too late. I did an away in September and got a letter from my rotation. It helped me match. that being said, the earlier your file is complete, the better, as you would be able to schedule your interviews earlier.

how about october? if i am doing a rotation during october would that be too late for a LOR.

along the same lines..

A) Can my application be submitted prior to October with 2 LOR and then upload the 3rd if I get it in time in October? (if thats the case I'm assuming the risk/benefits of getting in an incomplete app earlier is more beneficial than waiting)

B) has anyone heard of applicants carrying paper copies of a lor to the interview trail because it was too late to submit?
