Please don't hate me for asking this (I have nothing against DO's, I swear!), but does it matter for your LOR if you are an allopath and one of your letters comes from a DO? If they are on faculty at the school and have worked closely with the student, would that be okay?

Everything is ok/acceptable.....but if you went to an allopathic school and are applying to an allopathic residency......why go osteopathic now???

I am talking about a program that only has 3 attendings at our school...and one of them is a DO. In order to get LOR one may have to be from a DO.
