Hello everyone:

The estimated budget for the 2006-2007 academic year is $42,170. How much money are you guys taking out in loans?
Any suggestions from previous years. Or anybody in the same situation?

that estimate budget to me seems inflated

like they set out 2000 for laptop, I paid 600 for mine

they set out like 7 grand for rent, Im gonna be nowhere close to that

and I live somewhat close to ERie, so the 2200 for transportation again high

and the 4700 for "other" expenses, again, Im nowhere near that number


I think the 42 grand is just a very conservative #

but for loans, i would start by calling the financial aid office, and also look into Stafford loans

does LECOM participate in the Federal Loan system or are they like USN and only particpate in private loans?
