My wife and I flew thru [and had a 4hr lay-over in Salt Lake City] on the way back from Kirksville this past Sat. The city is GORGEOUS!!!!!!

It is also a potetential place for my 3rd & 4th year clerkships. Has anyone out there done their clerkships, a rotation or a residency there?

I hear University of Utah and LDS Hospital have very strong residency programs. But I am not sure if there are many DOs training in Utah.

Yeah, I had heard the same thing. KCOM, where I will be starting this fall, has begun offering SLC as a site to do my 3rd & 4th year clerkships. As impressed as we were, I was just curious about others' experiences there.

I wouldn't want to select my clerkship site on pure beauty alone.

While there aren't many DOs in residencies in UT, I know of at least a few. Contact UHS/COM for the names of alums currently in UT residencies (Univ. of UT, McKay Dee in Ogden are two sites with UHS residents in FM)
