The United States Army has a program called the Fanancial Assistance Program (FAP)(Full-time Program) that will supplement your present income as a resident doctor. The program will pay you $970.00 a month for 12 months and will pay you an annual bonus of $19,000 dollars (over $30,000) a year to supplement your present income. STRAP (Part-time program) which will pay $970.00 a month for 12 months. (The programs are not available to all specialties). This is an outstanding program for resident doctors.
