No im not starting another one lol. I was wondering if anyone can link me that thead that has a poll with the most useful study aids (achiever, topscore, Kaplan, etc.) and it also had their websites in the poll. I tried searching but I couldnt find the right keywords.

I find it hard to search for things on this SDN if it isnt extremely specific. For example you can't search for say "DAT achiever" because just about every thread would come up.

I'm not familiar with the thread but I would say:

1) DAT Destroyer
2) Kaplan Blue Book (screw the class -->worthless)
3) DAT Achiever
4) Topscore Pro

Supplement with any textbooks for concepts that are unclear... My two cents.

I agree with lifeisgood's list. aside from kaplan. I didn't take kap.

I took princeton review <- it was decent

1. DAT destroyer
2. Achiever
3. Topscore
4. schaum's bio
5. EK chem/ochem

Thanks guys, i was unfamiliar with DAT destroyer but I guess I will look into it now. And with your two DAT scores, I think I will take both your words for it, lol. Im waiting for my school to deposit extra loan money so I can start buying these things. So both the regular and the online Kaplan classes are useless? Ive heard the regular class is useless, but the online wasnt bad.

**I just looked on the DAT destroyer website and they had the basic and the ultimate packages. Is that one extra Orgo study aid worth the 100 bucks or should I stick with the basic one?

i used the destroyer as well. depends on how you are in organic chem. I went in with a pretty firm grasp of the subject material (orgo) so I just stuck with the basic one - bio, gchem, orgo, math.

1) dat destroyer
2) achiever
3) topscore
4) kaplan practice tests

that seems to be the concensus, the only thing I am a little worried about is Bio. I took intro bio 3 years ago and while I retained some of the information, a good chunk of it has left the mind. I am in Cell Bio now and im doing well, but I was just concerned that If I didnt take some sort of course with Bio that I would be up the proverbial creek without a paddle. However it might all come back to me If I start restudying it for the DAT

same here...
quick question for everyone...
the first time u took destroyer didn't u feel like DAMN THIS IS REALLY HARD...for ex. i tried to do a complete science integration of destroyer the first day i got it and i probably did the worst i have ever done in any sort of test in the history of the universe (I GOT 9 correct in G.chem!!) BUT, afterwards other tests feel easier and the questions and explanations really help.
