I am considering Rehab as a residency program. My basic concerns are the growing potential in the field after residency. Is there a lot of potential for this? Is this field going anywhere, or is it potentially non-existent in a few years?

PM&R (physical medicine and rehab) is a very hot field. I've heard that
physiatrists are in high demand right now and that's not expected to change
any time soon (especially since our population is aging). However, I've
also heard that their salaries aren't that great. Anyone know why?
