Was it noisy when you took the test because I heard others are also in the same room and they are taking other tests that involves typing and what not... Thanks for the input!:)

Thanks for the input!:) bruinpredent 10-04-2006, 09:39 AM depends on whose taking the test in the same room, but either way you get ear plugs, or in my case HUGE plastic orange ear muffs (talk about COMPLETE silence). don't forget to dress warm! gluck! TeethRCool 10-04-2006, 09:41 AM Are the ear plugs annoying? And were there others typing cause I can't concentrate if there's too much sound in the room..:( bruinpredent 10-04-2006, 09:44 AM like i said, depends on the testing center...i have the same problem, i need complete silence in order to concentrate. The ear muffs were pretty comfortable and provided complete silence, so keep you fingers crossed. As for if anyone was typing...i'm sure there were, because as i was waiting for my test a few people went in to take the GREs, which have mad typing, but once again those ear muffs kept it so quiet that I didn't even notice. Gordon9721 10-04-2006, 11:54 AM they let me wear my own ear plugs. i doubled up with the big orange ear muffs though. also, don't dress incredibly warm, dress in layers at best. my place was off the chain, i started sweating as soon as i walked in there. right before i went in i saw this broad come out sweating. she was a big girl, it was a little repulsive. Atombomb 10-04-2006, 08:24 PM Take the test early in the morning when noone is there i scheduled mine for 8 but i got there a 7 15 and he let me start by 7 25 it was quite until the end and even at the end it was quite there was just someone leaving now and then gl TeethRCool 10-05-2006, 06:06 AM so was it hot or cold at the testing center? RT0223 10-05-2006, 06:30 PM my center was extremely cold...I had to put my jacket on the whole time...it seemed like the AC was blowing right at my face, plus I was really nervious, that makes it even worse. In my center, 2 people share 1 table, and the guy sitting on the other side of the table kept moving the table, it was soooooo annoying... TeethRCool 10-06-2006, 01:14 AM im really paranoid about this sound thing...so everybody that took their test..did u get ear muffs at ur testing center? |
