How long does it take to get step 3 scores back for a US grad in residency in the US?

I think it's around 4 weeks. I just took the test at the end of September, and remember this from the bulletin somewhere (I think).

How long does it take to get step 3 scores back for a US grad in residency in the US?

My friend who took Step III on August 17th got his scores back in about 4 weeks. I believe he said that the bulletin said 4 to 6 weeks. He was surprised that they came so soon.

Took the test November 6, scores were reported on November 29th and recieved in mail on December 5th.

and it feels fabulous to be finished with the steps!!
