I have a question regarding UT-Memphis and the urology program there.

I have been trying to figure out if the program has accreditation through ACGME.

When I use the ACGME ID number for UT-Memphis on the ACGME website, the search returns no hits. This leads me to believe that UT-Memphis does not have accreditation. However, on the FREIDA website, there are hints that UT-Memphis has accreditation for four years.

Does anyone have any information regarding UT-Memphis and the programs accreditation status?

Word through the grapevine is that the program had a really good visit from the ACGME folks with good feedback. Word on the results apparently won't be available for a little while though. Gotta wait til the new year to see if they get reaccredited is what I heard.

I have also heard that the program will be closing (which doesn't make a lot of sense if they are matching students this year or if the ACGME visit went well).

I was told they were recently reaccredited for the next 3 years.
