Unfortunately, no. It came up during interview season. The first interim meeting I've missed.

At my school, you've gotta be on the AMA board to go without paying your own way. Which I cannot afford. But have fun everybody!!!

I hope you all get herpes from a trannie hooker named Phyllis. Didn't you get the memo that medical students aren't allowed to travel/have fun? Back to work, you!

No worries. I'm packing my laptop, Robbins, Cecil and my board review books. During meetings, I will pretend to pay attention while I actually study the notes hidden in my binder. In in evening, I will lock myself in my room to get in a few hours of quality study time. I will not gamble, drink or mingle with other med students or hookers.

I will punch you in your face if you wear your white coat :)

Seriously, forget the white coat and bring something semi-formal for classier events.

What about for the National Health Service project? I assume it's going to be screenings and stuff...

Oh, right, that thing. I have no idea. I assumed you meant that you would wear it around the Flamingo, in which case Chuck Norris would flip out and roundhouse you to the face. :)

"Dress Code—Dress code for Las Vegas is business casual (long- or short-sleeved shirts with collars for men, and dresses, blouses with skirts, or slacks for women. Jackets or sweaters are optional, and ties are not required)."

What did everyone think? This was my first time and it was great meeting med students from all over... though I think there should have been more mixers or small group sessions that divided schools, since everyone seemed to stick with their school a lot. Also, I didn't think med students were capable of debating breastfeeding so intently!

I was the one that extracted that resolution for assembly discussion, but I had to leave to catch my plane before it could come up because of all the craziness over the one before it. GAH. I wanted to be part of the debate you couldn't believe :meanie:

Don't worry, some other girl from WashU had something else to say about it, I think. There was just amendment upon amendment, including NEW amendments for that particular resolution in addition to what refcom suggested, along with extensive and repetitive testimony from the original author (a 'lactation expert' from Loma Linda University)
