There are no "test weeks" here at OSU (except for finals week). The midterm exams are scattered throughout the quarter. Last qtr, we would have for example, a midterm in physiology one week, midterms in color & light and histology the next week, and optics midterm and histology lab practical the following week. It's interesting how things are run differently from school to school. I'm not sure which I would prefer, but I think I would like the OSU method better than having the equivalent of 3 finals weeks per term. Any other thoughts?

Hello cpw,
I am curious.
how are the tests formatted in Optometry School. (U of H). Are they essay, Multiple choice, short answer, etc.. Is it similar to undergraduate>
well, optics is all problems. Usually the tests run about 10 - 15 pages long.
The rest are multiple choice.. they try and gear you up for board style questions.. so, the more multiple choice, the more practice you get for boards!
Back to studying!!
It's OVER!! Thank you GOD!!
Although, now I get to start studying for my comprehensive final in ocular anatomy. (shoot me now!)
yesterday some friends and i went out for some SERIOUS retail therapy. It's was great!

Hey cpw! Retail therapy is almost as good as getting a hair cut. Good riddance!
This semester is almost over, about 5 more weeks. We got a note in out mailboxes that said "Dear Opt II student..." I have to say, it feels really good. Before I started, I kept thinking that 4 years was such a long time, but it flies by and now it seems it's not long enough.
Well, I turned on the PC to look at ocular pictures, and look where I am......
